Key Points

Everyone's soul has a unique journey.

Getting in touch with our core, our Spirit, Soul, Heart, allows us to find the direction we are to move in. The journey is a direction, not a destination.

Everything that happens in our life, joyful or painful, is a learning experience.

I look back on all the painful times in my life. When I have made the choice to meet the challenge, I have always come out wiser and stronger for the experience.

Having true support always helps.

The Buddhists emphasize the importance of the sangha, the community, in our spiritual development. Other spiritual traditions place the same importance on support. I have always had the support of good friends, teachers, and spiritual guidance. I have also experienced false friends, false teachers and spiritual confusion. But it is from all of those experiences that I learned the importance of Truth. My Soul knows Truth and when I follow my Soul's guidance, I find the support I need.

A bit about my life...

We are all on our soul's journey, and it is never straight-forward, but has a lot of turns, twists, and falls.

I was born and raised in the Central Valley wine country of California. As a child I always had a sensitivity to read what was going on with other people. I picked up everyone's energy and was in real turmoil. I didn't know what to do with it or how to shut it off, so I turned to alcohol and drugs. This numbed me but it did not solve my problem.

I graduated high school and went to college. I didn't do very well and dropped out to work, travel, and try to find myself. I used alcohol to maintain in the world, but it created lots of problems. I had a serious liver illness when I was 27 and I had to quit drinking. Being sober, I found alternative forms of healing, such as yoga, juicing, colon cleansing, and energy work. I healed my liver completely, but unfortunately, I did not heal my soul. I went back to drinking. I had a degree in computer repair and moved to the Silicon Valley. I then moved to San Francisco where I got my English and Linguistics degree from U.C. Berkeley.

While working as a manager of a technical writing department, I had liver failure again. Then within a year I was in a major car accident. These events forced me to sober up permanently. They also drove me to find alternative solutions to the migraines and pain I was in. These events changed the course of my life. I see myself as having two lifetimes in one. Up until I was 33 years old, I had a life dominated by alcohol and belief in scientific materialism. After the accident, I began my spirtual quest.

I was fortunate to be in San Francisco when the New Age movement was blossoming. I was able to meet and study with some great healers and teachers. I continued to work in the Silicon Valley, but I used all my resources and spare time to pursue my spiritual development. It was truly an exciting time.

I would work in various areas of alternative healing over the years. I found I was very good at clearing out negative energies and blocks from people, animals, and spaces. I worked as a consultant, writing technical documentation for the Silicon Valley. Working at home allowed me to work part-time healing people and clearing homes. About eight years ago I finally quit my job and I have been working full-time ever since. I love my work and am passionate about helping people find their own soul's path.
